This is a story I have wanted to send into Maman for some time, but I’m only doing so now as the friend I mention has now sadly passed on. The story is so specific in its details that I dared not take the risk of identification during her lifetime.
I grew up in the late 1970s in the Midlands of England and, like the majority of children at that time, was definitely no stranger to the occasional smacked bottom from my parents, although they were by no means the strictest. Personally, I believe some people are just hard-wired to sexualise spanking, as the punishments as I received were by no means severe, and always given on my knickered bottom.
