I would like to share with you the story of when I got the strap for the first and only time, at the age of 10. I was the eldest of three girls – at the time of this story my sisters Tracey and Carly were nine and seven respectively.
We lived with our mother Jenny, who brought us up alone after our father walked out when I was about four.
