On the subject of mothers who spank, your readers may be interested in an account of my own family life in England during the late 40s and early 50s.
We were a large family, rather well-to-do, dad having a senior managerial position in a large corporation. I was the middle one of five girls and there were also two boys in the family. Dad had been married previously – one of the girls and the two boys were his from his earlier marriage.
