I grew up in the 60s and 70s and spanking was the way to discipline in our house. My stepmom was a firm believer that spanking was the only way to discipline a naughty child or teenager.
My sisters and I were spanked at least five to six times a month. Her tools of spanking were her hand or a leather strap, both of which she could use very well!
My first time receiving the strap was when I was 12, for breaking a window with a basketball. No matter how hard I tried to tell my stepmom my story, she just wouldn’t listen. The next thing I know, I’m in only my briefs and being told to bend over the chair. When I finally did, she pulled my briefs down and I received the spanking of a lifetime.
She must have strapped me 30 times and each stroke felt worse than the last. I cried my eyes out while she lectured me and sent me to the corner. I will never forget that spanking – and certainly not the one I saw my oldest sister get.
She was 17 at the time and had not only stolen money from me, but also mouthed off to our stepmom when she got caught. I knew she was in big trouble by the look on my stepmom’s face. She told my sister to get upstairs to her room and she would be up there to punish her in a few minutes,
She also announced that I would watch as she was spanked. I didn’t know what to say, except ‘yes ma’am’.
I went upstairs with her and sat in a chair in the corner of my sister’s room. My stepmom was lecturing her on stealing and having a smart mouth. She told her to strip to her underwear and bend over her bed. When my sister bent over the bed, my stepmom pulled her panties down and asked me if I could see what was about to happen. Once again, all I said was ‘yes ma’am’.
She took the strap out and whipped my sister’s poor bottom until it was bright red! My sister was crying and trying to say how sorry she was, but couldn’t speak over the tears.
I couldn’t believe I was seeing this – my sister’s big, round bottom being turned a shade of red I never wanted to experience for myself. The experience taught me more lessons than I could ever have imagined! But I did receive a few more hand spankings along the way.
