I’ll never forget the night that I got a lot closer to my older sister Ashley than we had ever been before. She was nearly 15 and I had just turned 12. We also had a younger brother, Jason, who was 10 at the time of this story.
We grew up in Montana during the 90s and were a typically fairly conservative family for that time. Spanking was certainly used to discipline the children, although it was a fairly uncommon sanction.
