This happened when I was 12 years old. I grew up in the age when corporal punishment at home and school was quite common. However, the idea of being punished by someone else’s mum was quite unusual.
Mrs Thomas made quite an impression on me in more than one way. I had developed a bit of a crush on David’s mum. She must have been about 40 at the time but she had really kept her figure. Even at the age of 12, little boys notice these things.
