Unfortunately, as a child I was prone to bathroom accidents. Even as an adult, it’s a rare month that passes without me having an accident. Now I can kind of laugh it off, but as a kid it was devastatingly embarrassing.
This story again involves my girl friend Mackenzie. Around Hallowe’en time, her mom took us and her 12-year-old sister Lucy to a ‘haunted house’ attraction, after which we would go back to her house for a sleepover. Lucy was also supposed to have friend in tow but the latter had got sick and cancelled. So Lucy – who could kind of be mean at the best of times – was in a bad mood.
