Although my four kids were generally well behaved, as a stay-at-home mom of four I had to make sure they knew I was serious about respect and discipline. My twin boys got into a lot of trouble, but in this instance, it was one of my girls that needed to be disciplined.
Stephie was mostly so good and respectful for me. Growing up, she was actually a lot like myself – more into writing and the arts than sports. Somehow, though, as she was turning into a young teenager, I noticed her changing. My other daughter, Chrissie, kept letting me know that she was becoming more and more of a bully towards the other female students at her all girl private school. I wondered where this behavior was coming from; I was seeing none of it at home.
