Matching the crime

I grew up mostly in the 1970s in the Yorkshire region of the UK, a time when smacking and corporal punishment were still very much the norm for misbehaved children. This is an account of my first proper spanking which I got shortly before my sixth birthday.

Prior to this, I’d had my bottom smacked a few times by my mother and even once by my teacher at school but it had been a case of being grabbed by the arm and given two or three smacks on the seat of my trousers. My mother had threatened to smack my bare bottom a few times but up to this point it had never happened.
