This happened when I was in the third grade of elementary school at a small town in Georgia. I was a pretty good student but math was a big weak spot in my learning abilities.
So when I found myself confronted with an unexpected arithmetic test while seated next to a girl who was the noted ‘Straight A’ student of my class, I caved in to the temptation of copying her answers. She was a very trusting girl, so I don’t think she ever noticed what I was doing.
