By this time the reader knows that the form of corporal punishment advocated by me is spanking and perhaps she is inclined to say, “Well, I thought we were to be introduced to something new. There is nothing new about spanking.” Wait, dear reader, be patient until you are familiar with my interpretation of spanking. Readily do I admit that spanking is anything but new. Perhaps it is old as Cain. But what I do maintain is, that not one in a thousand properly interprets the word “spanking” and not one in a hundred thousand practices it with every least detail as it should be practiced, as I describe and strongly endorse in this work.
